-Precedes St Patty's Parade -
The 132nd Anniversary of the arrival of the railroad to Tucson will be celebrated with a display of the
original 1880 Silver Spike ,a performance by the 4th Cavalry Regiment Band, a City proclamation
by Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothchild. Music begins at 9:00AM at this free event sponsored by
The Southern Arizona Transportation Museum. Antique vehicles will be on display.
The museum will be open in the afternoon following the parade for visits and tours.

Depot Tours
All aboard! Visit the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum. Your tour guide will explain the historic and present day uses of the former Southern Pacific Depot. History comes alive when you explore the restored Depot Lobby (circa 1941), the historic Locomotive #1673 and the Museum. Learn how the railroad impacted Tucson since its arrival in March 1880.
