Dillinger Capture and Transportation
This small exhibit focuses on the transportation aspect of the Dillinger capture in Tucson. How did Dillinger and his friends come to Tucson? Learn how a new national highway system influenced how Americans traveled from state to state by 1934. Learn the make and model of car Dillinger drove. How was the group of criminals extradited and how was the Depot involved? Learn the answers to these questions and more. To be displayed on Dillinger Day (usually 3rd Saturday in January) and for one month beyond.
